So with all the momentum building from the tea parties and 9/12 rallies, there are some that are wondering, “What now?“. This was expressed at the Smart Girl Politics Summit and the ALA conference this weekend in Nashville, TN. So what was the consensus? It was expressed by more than one speaker that the next step is up to you. Find your passion, whither it be a school board, a czar or candidate. It is now your responsibility to find that niche. It is now up to us to keep the momentum going. I am going to go home and help candidates. I am going to make sure I frequent city council meetings and quorum court meetings. What are you going to do?

My dad always told me you are the company you keep. He told me be careful who you hang around, your reputation is associated with your friends. I am not surprised by Van Jones or any other radical person in the White House. The President it seems has always surrounded himself with radicals. So that must make him one as well!!

I can’t believe it is almost back to school. The summer just flew by. I really enjoyed spending time with my daughter. It is nice to have special one on one time with her. We spent a lot of time in the water either at the lake or at the pool. I feel like a frog/fish.
